I can sell a buyer a home and list it with our program seamlessly. I am also a relocation specialist for students and faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and Texas A&M. Our office manages over 150 properties in our market area which provides a wealth of knowledge and insight to home buyers wanting to invest in rentals, Cynthia said, who is also well versed in foreclosure properties through FreddieMac and the VA. In addition to working with buyers and sellers, Cynthia believes in giving back to her community in profound ways. She founded a thriving nonprofit called RecoveryChick. Together with her broker she also opened a home called Judy's House. Judy's House is named after Cynthia's late mother.

Barbara has been selling homes on Galveston Island since 1999. Although she specializes in West End resort property, she also loves helping clients find historic homes in Galveston’s unique neighborhoods. As a former Houstonian who bought her first home in Galveston as a weekend retreat, she easily identifies with the needs of second home buyers who want a tranquil escape.

Having twenty five years in the airline industry prior to becoming a Realtor®, Barbara understands the importance of customer service. She was among the top producers in the West End real estate prior to joining Sand ‘N Sea Properties and she credits her customer service training as a big part of her success.

Professional affiliations include: Galveston Association of Realtors®, Texas Association of Realtors® and National Association of Realtors®. She also is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and has taken many courses including those focusing on selling luxury properties and staging homes. Barbara’s degree is in sociology with a minor in history and Spanish.

Civic and social organizations include the Executive Career Women of Galveston where she served as Vice President, the Jamaica Janes Women's Club and the Dough Girls, a local investment club where she has served as an officer; the First Thursday Bunch, and Galveston Country Club. She has also volunteered at the Silk Purse Thrift Shop and was on the Board of Directors of the Diocese of Texas Episcopal Church Women and currently serves as a member of Grace Church Foundation Board.

Traveling is a special love for Barbara along with visiting museums, playing bridge and enjoying friends and neighbors. Most special to her is walking on the beach in Galveston or any other beach!. Barbara has two children and three grandchildren in Texas and Georgia.

After college he worked on large Subsea Oil & Gas operations as an Engineering Planner, organizing and executing multi-million-dollar projects with tight timelines. I have fond childhood memories of Galveston and appreciate the advantage that growing up on the island has given me in my career as a local real estate professional. My family moved to Galveston when I was 5 years old from New Orleans, La. I attended St Mary’s Elementary, O’Connell Junior High and O’Connell High School. Our family home was one block from the seawall and I spent most of my summers on the beach surfing and fishing.

After high school, I attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. After graduation, I was drawn back to the coast and I joined a Houston-based geophysical exploration company embarking on a 25-year career in the international oilfield services industry. Over the years, my job responsibilities required travel to all parts of the world and included longer residencies in Anchorage, Alaska, London and Rio de Janeiro.

Upon leaving the oilfield services industry in 2003 and returning to the United States from London, my wife and I settled in Jamaica Beach. We bought a waterfront home and have been remodeling it ever since! We could have settled anywhere, but the Galveston sand and salt air beckoned and returning home seemed the right thing to do. We don%u219t regret it one bit, and moving to the "West End" is proving to be a very positive quality-of-life decision. When not working, I can be found fishing in West Galveston Bay, working in our garden, or walking our Airedale Terrier, Olive Oyl.

Having the advantage of growing up here means I have an in-depth familiarity with all neighborhoods and all aspects of living on Galveston Island. My experiences with professional IT Systems, business software, health & safety management issues and multi-cultural environments compliment my professional real estate skills. Most importantly, being professionally trained in a service-driven environment compels me to offer the highest quality of customer service. As the world of real estate transactions evolve, it is clear that only technology and first-class service will differentiate real estate practitioners.
