Alison Christensen grew up in Houston and earned her B.A. degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. A family vacation home in Galveston in the 90's turned into a permanent residence in 2003. "It wasn't a difficult choice: we loved the pace of 'island time' and found ourselves spending more and more time down here." Alison has an extensive knowledge of Galveston's coastal market: the West End, from beach to bay; the myriad neighborhoods - new and old - tucked throughout the island; and the windstorm and flood insurance requirements important to all property owners. "I was raised in Houston, and now Galveston is my home. I've had the best of both worlds. This combination helps me better understand and assist buyers and sellers in our market." Active in the community, she attends St. Mary's Catholic Church; volunteers with the Bryan Museum; serves as a docent with the Galveston Historic Homes Tour each May; serves on the Board of the Friends of Rosenberg Library. In 2018, Alison was elected to the Board of the Galveston Association of Realtors, and was also the featured realtor in an episode of "Beach Front Bargain Hunt" on HGTV. When she is not working with clients, Alison enjoys estate sales and vintage shops, trips to New Orleans, and entertaining her friends and family at her father's farm near Brenham. Following in their mother's footsteps, her daughter, Ali, is a recent graduate of Texas A&M, and her son, Jack, is a current student at Texas A&M in College Station.

Dakota Garcia has real estate in her blood! She's a second-generation Realtor® who combines her love for the real estate industry with her passion for marketing. Before real estate, Dakota was in the Marketing Department for Yaga's Entertainment, Inc. The advertising skills that she learned in that position have crossed over into her real estate business – both traditional and digital skills. Dakota earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University, and with this foundation, she places an emphasis on stellar customer service and thorough communication. As a member of Chi Omega Fraternity, Dakota deeply enjoys her time volunteering and fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation, an organization very dear to her heart. Dakota was recently engaged to longtime beau, Michael, and she lives in Pirates Beach on the West End. Two dogs, a Dachshund named Gracie and a Border Collie Mix named Penny, round out her family. Her hobbies include traveling, kayaking, exploring the West End neighborhoods on her golf cart, playing bingo and spending time at her family's' ranch in the Hill Country.

After a successful sales career in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, I relocated to Jamaica Beach in 2012 and made the professional change to real estate sales. In 2004, Jana Turner, a native Houstonian, decided to permanently trade in her city life for the laid-back lifestyle of Galveston Island. Her passion for coastal living has been passed down to her three daughters, each of whom lives on a different coast: East, West and Gulf. Having a love of Galveston Island all her life, she has owned beachside, bayside and historical properties and has an affinity for each type of retreat. Jana prides herself on helping buyers find the perfect home according to their lifestyle.

Jana has been heavily involved in many philanthropic endeavors and especially enjoyed her work as a child advocate for Fort Bend CASA. She is a member of the Galveston Historical Foundation and sits on the advisory board of The 1894 Grand Opera House. Hobbies include tennis, reading, mahjongg, traveling, walking on the beach and spending time with family and friends.
