Dakota Garcia has real estate in her blood! She's a second-generation Realtor® who combines her love for the real estate industry with her passion for marketing. Before real estate, Dakota was in the Marketing Department for Yaga's Entertainment, Inc. The advertising skills that she learned in that position have crossed over into her real estate business – both traditional and digital skills. Dakota earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University, and with this foundation, she places an emphasis on stellar customer service and thorough communication. Whether you are buying or selling property, Dakota works to provide a smooth transaction process and the necessary guidance to ensure advantageous outcomes. As a member of Chi Omega Fraternity, Dakota deeply enjoys her time volunteering and fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation, an organization very dear to her heart. She's also a member of the Galveston Chamber of Commerce C-Crewe, an organization of young business professionals on the island. Professional Associations include: National Association of Realtors® (NAR), Houston Association of Realtors® (HAR) and Galveston Association of Realtors® (GAR). Cherished childhood memories include going to the beaches with her family during the summer, and living and working in Galveston is truly a blessing to her. She wants to share her enthusiasm for the island and is eager to help her clients find their own coastal sanctuaries. Dakota was recently engaged to longtime beau, Michael, and she lives in Pirates Beach on the West End. Two dogs, a Dachshund named Gracie and a Border Collie Mix named Penny, round out her family. Her hobbies include traveling, kayaking, exploring the West End neighborhoods on her golf cart, playing bingo and spending time at her family's' ranch in the Hill Country.
