As a 5th Generation Galvestonian - B.O.I. (Born on the Island) Stacey Weber-Rubio knows and loves her home! She has deep Island roots and most of her family and friends live on Galveston Island. Stacey and her husband are members of the Galveston Historical Foundation, the Galveston Railroad Museum, and the Elks. Stacey enjoys volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House of Galveston, Elks community events, and philanthropy through Catholic Charities of Galveston-Houston. She and her husband Jesse love to cook, travel, spend time with family and friends, and play with their miniature schnauzer. Matthew B. Fitzgerald is a Friendswood native and Clear Lake area Realtor with Imagine Realty International, DBA, out of Katy, Texas. Mat lives in League City, Texas, with his daughter, Emerald Tru, and son, Roman Aedan.

A former active duty Marine, having served 17 years in the service including his Reserve time, Mat was recruited by one of the premier financial advisory companies in the country. He worked as a financial advisor, and certified financial manager, in the private client services division, specializing in comprehensive retirement planning, and asset and wealth management.

Having been ranked as "Rookie of the Year" in the Clear Lake area early in his financial services career during one of our countries most difficult financial markets - the early 2000s recession, and Dot-com bubble 2000-2002 - and after a successful four and a half years, Mat voluntarily left the industry in 2004. He went on to form his own limited liability company in order to pursue a self-employed career in investment real estate, and home improvement.

Taking his military discipline and financial knowledge to task, along with his experience in having personally and profitably invested in real estate, represented real estate investors, and worked in home improvement, Mat focuses on opportunities in both investment property acquisition, residential and commercial properties, and raw land.

I am highly motivated in the Real Estate market in Galveston County. I have bought and sold several homes, as well as managed my own vacation rental in Galveston since 2009. I moved to Houston in 1991, from Ohio, and spent 25 years in the Oil and Gas Industry working in Project Management and Finance. I retired and moved to Galveston in 2016. Leveraging my experience as a successful business owner and as a team player working with Fortune 500 companies, I am known for outstanding client service with 24/7 availability, high tech marketing techniques, and a skilled negotiator with my client's best interest at heart. I believe strongly that it is not only my duty to represent my clients to the best of my ability, but also to educate them through every step of the process armed with top notch information and market insight so my clients can make the best decisions possible. I am a firm believer in giving back and am passionate about several things, including animal rescue. I am a volunteer at the Galveston Humane Society and foster kittens and puppies for adoption, as well as being actively involved in the TNR program. I, also donate to Wounded Warriors and Shriner's Children's Hospital in Galveston. In my free time, I enjoy running, kayaking, walking the beach and social events, as a member of several committees on the Island.
