I have been in sales and marketing for over 30 years providing marine in the marine industry along the gulf coast. I currently own and operate a family tire business and I am a principal owner in a development company that designs & build residential homes. I have fond childhood memories of Galveston and appreciate the advantage that growing up on the island has given me in my career as a local real estate professional. My family moved to Galveston when I was 5 years old from New Orleans, La. I attended St Mary’s Elementary, O’Connell Junior High and O’Connell High School. Our family home was one block from the seawall and I spent most of my summers on the beach surfing and fishing.

After high school, I attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. After graduation, I was drawn back to the coast and I joined a Houston-based geophysical exploration company embarking on a 25-year career in the international oilfield services industry. Over the years, my job responsibilities required travel to all parts of the world and included longer residencies in Anchorage, Alaska, London and Rio de Janeiro.

Upon leaving the oilfield services industry in 2003 and returning to the United States from London, my wife and I settled in Jamaica Beach. We bought a waterfront home and have been remodeling it ever since! We could have settled anywhere, but the Galveston sand and salt air beckoned and returning home seemed the right thing to do. We don%u219t regret it one bit, and moving to the "West End" is proving to be a very positive quality-of-life decision. When not working, I can be found fishing in West Galveston Bay, working in our garden, or walking our Airedale Terrier, Olive Oyl.

Having the advantage of growing up here means I have an in-depth familiarity with all neighborhoods and all aspects of living on Galveston Island. My experiences with professional IT Systems, business software, health & safety management issues and multi-cultural environments compliment my professional real estate skills. Most importantly, being professionally trained in a service-driven environment compels me to offer the highest quality of customer service. As the world of real estate transactions evolve, it is clear that only technology and first-class service will differentiate real estate practitioners.

Since being licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Real Estate Salesperson, I have obtained the following accreditations from the National Association of Realtors: ePro – Internet Marketing, GRI – Graduate Realtor Institute, ABR – Accredited Buyers Representative, SFR – Short Sales and Foreclosures. I am an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the Galveston Association of Realtors.

As a 5th Generation Galvestonian - B.O.I. (Born on the Island) Stacey Weber-Rubio knows and loves her home! She has deep Island roots and most of her family and friends live on Galveston Island. Stacey has been around the Island housing market her whole life, growing up around the business since her parents managed several properties of their own. She has developed a reliable eye for what works in buying and selling through multiple personal transactions as well. Stacey is a professional, top-producing, sales agent with Sand 'N Sea and was awarded and recognized as 2022's Top Producing Sales Agent for the highest volume of real estate sales. In 2023 Stacey closed out the year counted among the top 10 Realtors in Galveston for the fourth year in a row. Stacey's clients often express appreciation for her knowledge, service, and attention to detail. Whether marketing properties for sale or finding her clients the perfect home, Stacey focuses on service. After obtaining her real estate license, Stacey added a degree in Business Management with a Marketing Focus to her education to better serve her clients. In addition to the several certifications and designations Stacey has earned, Stacey has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) from the Residential Real Estate Council. Held by only 2% of Realtors®, this designation speaks to experience, amassed sales volume, education, training, and excellence in real estate. Stacey is very close to her large family, and they enjoy spending as much time together as possible. Stacey's husband of nearly 32 years, Jesse, recently retired from the City of Texas City as their Assistant Fire Chief. A licensed REALTOR® himself, Jesse can often be found around town assisting Stacey at open houses, showings, and transactions.

Stacey and her husband are members of the Galveston Historical Foundation, the Galveston Railroad Museum, and the Elks. Stacey enjoys volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House of Galveston, Elks community events, and philanthropy through Catholic Charities of Galveston-Houston. She and her husband Jesse love to cook, travel, spend time with family and friends, and play with their miniature schnauzer. Stacey's professional associations include the Houston Association of REALTORS®, Galveston Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS® and Stacey is a member of the Institute for Certified Luxury Home Marketing and of The Guild of Certified Luxury Home Marketers. In addition to being a professional REALTOR®, Stacey has earned the designations of ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), RSPS (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist) and SRS (Sellers Representative Specialist) and carries certifications as a CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) and a CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). Stacey is currently serving as President on the Galveston Association of REALTORS® Board.

Native Texan Darlene Stewart hails from McAllen but got to Galveston as soon as she could. She considers herself, if not "BOI" then the next closest thing. Prior to her career in residential real estate, Darlene worked in property development and management, where she gained experience in working with builders, developers and tenants, and learned the value of excellent customer service.

Darlene enjoys the opportunity real estate offers to work with a variety of people, helping them to achieve home ownership. I started my career in real estate in February, 2013 in Dallas/Fort Worth as a part time agent representing buyers. Because of my passion for helping others buy and sell real estate I made the move from Fort Worth to Galveston to pursue a full time career in real estate.
