I am highly motivated in the Real Estate market in Galveston County. I have bought and sold several homes, as well as managed my own vacation rental in Galveston since 2009. I moved to Houston in 1991, from Ohio, and spent 25 years in the Oil and Gas Industry working in Project Management and Finance. I retired and moved to Galveston in 2016. Leveraging my experience as a successful business owner and as a team player working with Fortune 500 companies, I am known for outstanding client service with 24/7 availability, high tech marketing techniques, and a skilled negotiator with my client's best interest at heart. I am a firm believer in giving back and am passionate about several things, including animal rescue. I am a volunteer at the Galveston Humane Society and foster kittens and puppies for adoption, as well as being actively involved in the TNR program. I, also donate to Wounded Warriors and Shriner's Children's Hospital in Galveston. In my free time, I enjoy running, kayaking, walking the beach and social events, as a member of several committees on the Island.

Beginning as a Realtor in August 1967, and receiving my Brokers license in August of 1972. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I worked in the title Industry as a runner, an abstractor, an examiner and then closer (today referred to as an escrow officer.) The title business led to my interest in real estate. Residential, as well as commercial, are my areas of expertise. I recently received the designation of REALTOR EMERITUS from the National Association of REALTORS for having served over 40 years to our industry.I have been a past President of the Galveston Association of REALTORS, served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Education , MLS and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Voted Best REALTOR in Galveston in 2003 by the Galveston County Daily News . I was an adjunct instructor in real estate for 17 years at Galveston College. Taught many courses in different areas of our business. I participated in several developments of historical properties on the island as well as resort properties on the west end beach and bay areas. Recently honored by my colleague's with the Golden Heart Award for being the most helpful in our office to other agents!

Even though technology is a major force in our industry today, I still believe that personal service one-on-one or face-to-face with our clients, is the best way to build lasting relationships.
