A Little About Me-
My interest and passion for Real Estate began in the early 1990's, when my husband and I were beginning the search for our first home. Since then, we have moved 6 times and lived in 4 cities in Texas. Four of these moves included building our new home. I just love the process and, yes, we are still happily married!
In the early 2000's, we continued our Real Estate adventure and purchased, remodeled and flipped 2 properties in the North Houston area. I would have to say that our very latest endeavors have been my favorite, so far. In 2019, we purchased a 1913 historic cottage, in Galveston, and completely remodeled it. We maintained the historic features and charm of the home, while bringing it up to date with all the modern conveniences. The home was featured on the GHF Historic Home Tour in 2021. We are now working on a 1900 Storm Survivor, that will hit the market soon! Having lived on the island in my youth, I grew to love everything about Galveston. I want to share that love and experience with others and can't wait to help you find your perfect Island home.
What I Will Do for you-
I will take my passion for Real Estate and focus it on you and your Real Estate needs. I am fully committed to seeing you through the process of selling, buying or leasing your home with ease and confidence, with honesty, integrity and compassion. I make it a promise to effectively communicate with you throughout the process and I will work to ensure your next Real Estate adventure is as easy as possible.

An Islander-by-Choice, Stacy and her family lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 22 years before returning home to Texas in 2015. They chose Galveston for its its quirky vibe and unique location: a small coastal town within 45 minutes of a major airport and within an hour of a world-class city. She has personal experience in owning a downtown Galveston loft, a West End beach house, and a historic Queen Anne home in midtown. As she tells clients, she came for the beach but stayed for the town.
Stacy considers herself a matchmaker of sorts. She takes pride in her ability to uncover her clients' essential needs; create a prioritized list to guide their search; and then match them with a curated selection of properties. Methodically guiding clients through the negotiation process is one of her strengths, recognizing that the most successful property deals marry emotional satisfaction with financial peace of mind.
Let Stacy and her team members at the Carnes Realty Group bring their expertise to your real estate journey and discover how peaceful the home-buying process can be.
