Sommer is the TCR Galveston Office Manager. She assists in the sales and marketing of Galveston properties in addition to coordinating the other TCR Galveston Agents. In addition, she manages the TCR Vacation Rental Program. Prior to working for TCR, Sommer served as a Transaction/Advertising Coordinator in real estate. In this role, she assisted agents in advertising and social media to gain prospects as well as train new agents with tools to grow their business. I was raised in the South Texas town of Kingsville, home of the King Ranch (one of the worlds largest), about 50 miles Southwest of Corpus Christi. My father was a home remodeling contractor and also owned a small paint and hardware store. After graduating high school, I worked with him in both the store and in the remodeling business, learning about home renovation. While working with him, I also attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville, majoring in Finance and minoring in General Business. In May of 1983, I began my real estate career with a Texas Real Estate Sales license, and I attained my Texas Brokers License in February of 1986. Locally, he is Former Chair of the Landmarks Commission for the City of Galveston and is a past President of the Galveston Historical Foundation.
