After graduating college, getting married and starting my family I looked into Real Estate and fell in love with it all over again. I went back to school to get my license and certifications and began my career in the fall of 2017. I am now completing my seventh year in real estate with over 100 transactions completed. I have also joined my local brokerage of JLA Realty in Dayton as their mission is very near to my own. Mary Ellen Conner was born and raised in Dayton. She is excited about the changes and growth that are coming to this area. She has not always been in real estate, as she holds a Master's Degree in Educational Management. She taught school and then served as the Executive Director of Personnel Services at Dayton ISD where she developed extensive customer service skills. She spent over 25 years as a Texas State Certified General Appraiser and held a real estate sales license in the 1980's.

Her previous work experience, coupled with her enthusiasm and innate desire to help people, pushes her to great lengths to answer questions and provide needed information to clientele to help them make the right real estate decisions. As an appraiser, Mary Ellen developed a strong understanding of the diverse housing market in the Dayton area.

Mary Ellen is involved in her community. She is Secretary of the Dayton Historical Society, Vice President of Lakata Club, Treasurer of the Police & Fire Museum, and serves on various other committees in Dayton. In her free time she enjoys her grandchildren and relaxing at the beach.
