I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 2023. Although I was born in Paulton, England, I have been raised in the greater Houston area since 1998, so I consider myself a Texan. As for my areas of specialization, I am willing to help my clients in any way I can to get them what they want.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, I became a Texas licensed Certified Public Accountant, since 2017. I hold a master's degree in accounting from Texas A&M and took a series of Oil and Gas and Real Estate electives to broaden my understanding of the greater Houston markets. I married my wonderful wife, Katelyn, in 2020 and we have a beautiful baby girl, Holland. We currently live in an 80-year-old farmhouse on 200 acres just north of the Madisonville, TX area in a small town called Normangee.

I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to explain even the most complicated components of a transaction to my clients in a way they can understand. As a laid-back and easygoing person, I can deal with and attain even the most unique of home requests.

My mother, Ruth Duance, has been working as a real estate agent since 2006 and has been the greatest influence on my life, both personally and professionally and inspired me to get my license shortly after college. I have followed my mother's real estate career through the years and what I've learned from her helps me in the marketing of the houses my clients entrust me to sell. My experience in accounting helps me better understand the financial side of the business, which I believe will be a useful asset to have when working to find the perfect house for my clients. Originally from England and a resident of the Houston area since 1998, Ruth Duance has made several international and local moves, so she certainly understands how stressful these times can be. But she’s also aware of how exciting and rewarding a move can be, as when she and her family moved to The Woodlands in 2004!

Ruth is a Realtor who loves her job, takes it very seriously and wants to help all of her clients, whether tenants, landlords, buyers, sellers or investors, have the smoothest move possible. Her work style is to “be there” for her clients through every step of their real estate journey and remain long after the transaction has closed. That’s why one friend calls her “WIT” because she believes Ruth will do “Whatever It Takes” to get a deal done!

For example, there was the time Ruth helped a client clean a home before the moving truck arrived because the scheduled cleaners didn’t show up. On another occasion, she spent hours in the county clerk’s office searching records to prove that a lien against one of her sellers was incorrect and had been mistakenly misfiled against her client instead of the correct party who had a similar name. On yet another, she waited in her clients’ home for furniture to be delivered when an emergency arose and, being new to town, they didn’t have anyone else to turn to.

Clearly, Ruth will do whatever is in the best interest of her clients and make things flow. She also pledges to give each client equal attention whether it be for a lease or a multi-million dollar listing. Her hope is that at the end of the transaction, her name will be the one clients remember when someone asks “Do you know a great Realtor?” If that happens, she will feel she has done her job well!

Ruth shares a philosophy learned from her mother that she passes on to clients even now. That is, you will know if a house will be a good home the minute you walk in. If it doesn't feel right then, it won't get better the longer you stay. It's an attitude that has served her and her buyers very well.

Away from the office, Ruth and her husband, David, married since 1985, are proud parents to their grown children and now grandparents to their first grandchild. She also loves to travel with her family whenever possible.

Alexandra made The Woodlands her home in 2003 when she relocated here due to her husband's job in the oil industry. Because of her own relocation experience, she understands the challenges associated with moving to a new city or country. She will share her experience and knowledge to provide ongoing support throughout the whole process of moving, renting, finding a home, office or investing in real estate in The Woodlands area. Throughout these years, she has been able to help sell, buy and rent properties to many national and international clients, many associated with the oil industry, multi-national companies and foreign investments.

She has built a team around her to help support her clients' needs. All aligned to offer her clients the best-personalized service possible. Her office is conveniently located in The Woodlands.
