As a General Manager for a major hotel chain for many years, in several different cities, I felt my true calling was in real estate. Thus, I left the hotel industry and began my real estate career in 2004 in Chicago as a Sales Person with a local company who specialized in new developments, Buyers, Sellers and Investors. We also ran a successful rehab company. Our rehab company worked on residential flips and also completed renovation projects for Cook County and others. The real estate market changed in Illinois in 2008 and around the country. After several successful years of leading the market in residential flips, buyer, seller and investor representation we decided to close Legna Realty and Management, LLC and move to a more stable real estate market. I like to say, we blew in to Houston, Texas with Hurricane Ike!
