Sheri grew up in a family of real estate. Although she thought she would not seek such a career, she supported herself through college working in property management as a leasing agent and soon saw her natural talents develop. Then as now, she came to realize that real estate did not feel like a job, but a privilege. In residential sales, Sheri is able to indulge another of her passions – decorating. Added to the joy of helping people find their home, using her decorating skills, she takes great pleasure in helping clients see the possibilities that they might otherwise miss when considering a home, or assisting them in placing their furnishings at move in.
Between her years in property management and the success she enjoys now in residential sales, Sheri took a detour that added even more to her impressive resume – by opening and owning a boat dealership, building it to 22 million dollars a year in sales, with two locations and, in the process, negotiating numerous commercial leases and contracts to purchase buildings and land, as well as designing and building a showroom and service department. These transactions taught her amazing lessons from which she gained significant experience in the area of commercial real estate, another benefit to the buyers and sellers she works with today.
A native Houstonian, with a BA in Communications, with a specialty in Public Speaking, from the University of Houston, Sheri was raised in the Klein and Tomball area, but has also lived in the Galleria and West University areas so is quite familiar with many parts of the city. A single mom, she is devoted to her two daughters – the oldest who attends U of H, is on the Dean’s List, and studying BroadJournalism, and the youngest a cheerleader at Tomball High School who competes competitively as well.
While her career and her daughters keep her very busy, Sheri still finds time to give back to her community as a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, a Delta Zeta Alumni, and as a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the Tomball Cheer Booster Club.
