I grew up in Magnolia, TX, and attended Texas A&M University, College Station, graduating in 2003. At Texas A&M I attained my real estate license and practiced real estate in College Station while attending school. I live in Magnolia, TX with my wife, Melissa, and our two boys. Outside of real estate I help coach our boys baseball and football teams.After graduation I accepted a new home sales position at Pulte Homes. While at Pulte I pursued attaining my Texas real estate broker's license. In 2006, after completing the Texas real estate broker's exams, my family and I started Carswell Real Estate Co. After Carswell Real Estate Co. was off and running I had the opportunity to form an oilfield service company in 2010, J Bar Oilfield Services. J Bar Oilfield Services successfully operated in the Eagle Ford Shale, heavily involved in water transfer, from 2010 to 2019. Renée Barrett-Gonzales is a domestic and international relocation specialist. A former paralegal, property and project manager, Renée has broad domestic and international experience that crosses multiple industries, including telecommunications, commercial real estate/facility build-out and oil and gas, and has worked with clients from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi, India, Venezuela, Mexico, Canada and US.

A self-described self-starter, she has cultivated her various careers from the ground up, and has developed processes and procedures where none existed and communicated with and trained personnel globally. Organized, driven, results oriented, and a strong negotiator, her expertise, integrity, passion and communications skills not only make her a good match for the real estate industry but also a good choice for potential home buyers.

Renée is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. A native Houstonian, she is married and has two daughters. A lover of animals, her four-legged children include a Sheep-a-Doodle and rescue Coley/Shepherd mix.
