Clayton Kimbrew
Intero River Oaks Office
About Clayton
  • Polite. Punctual. Professional. These three little words seem to have lost their value among many sales professionals today. So, it is no coincidence that these are the three things that I have my team focus on at the beginning of each day!
  • Directly after I got out of the United States Navy I made sure I did two things. One, I enrolled into University of Houston. And two, I got my real estate license! I started off as an apartment locator while still enrolled. Not only did this help me relearn our beautiful city, it has also helped me to learn to develop a sound rapport with my clients by allowing me to focus on building long lasting relationships with every personality type imaginable.
  • Now that my degree is complete and I have become a broker, my transition into a full time and full service Real Estate Broker is now complete. With real estate as my number one focus, I am ready to help you with any and all of your real estate needs. If you have any questions, want to see any property you have found here, or you would like to discuss the selling of your home please do not hesitate to call myself or one of my team members as we are always looking for ways to Redefine Customer Service!

    Heidi Dugan
Greenwood King Properties - Kirby Office
    About Heidi

In the Houston real estate world, the industry's outstanding do-it-all player is Heidi Dugan. Heidi has been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of the city's Top 25 Realtors every year for more than 15 years, and in West University Place, where she has resided for nearly four decades, Heidi is consistently ranked the No. 1 real estate agent (per MLS statistics). One of her secrets: She has a gift for detail and studies market trends, home values and the pros/cons of specific locations and builders. Heidi is current to the minute in her market, observes one satisfied client.

Heidi is not a native Texan – she grew up in Miami Beach and attended the University of South Florida where she studied art history – but as Houstonians like to say, she got here as fast as she could. Before turning to real estate, she worked as a paralegal at Fulbright & Jaworski for 11 years. That background in negotiating, contract work and problem-solving goes toward her current skill set.

It's not surprising, perhaps, that Heidi has a high percentage of referrals and repeat customers, many of them interested in million-dollar-plus properties. In fact, she is now working with the grown children of many original clients. "I have known Heidi for 30 years," reports another client. "She has sold homes to everyone in our family, and we would never buy or sell without her. She is persistent, hard-working and gets the best deal for her clients."

In addition to West University, Heidi also helps clients to buy and sell in the surrounding areas of Southampton, River Oaks, Southgate, Bellaire, Braes Heights, the Museum District, Rice Military and even the Memorial Villages.

Heidi is a mom to two grown sons one is in IT and the other is the lead singer/songwriter in the Austin band Culture Wars and grandmother of four. She loves to travel and has been to Africa multiple times, as well as Eastern Europe and Asia. She also used to sing professionally.

    Betty Crain
    Douglas Elliman Real Estate
    About Betty

Betty Crain is a third-generation Houstonian who grew up in the
West University and Tanglewood neighborhoods. Betty was raised
in a family of luxury-home builders, which drove her passion for
real estate from an extremely early age.

Prior to being recruited to join the John Daugherty team, Betty worked for the family home building business as a designer and executive assistant. She has also worked as the Board of Trustees Liaison at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Her experience with multiple high end local home builders gives her vast insight and knowledge into the construction process. Betty took her knowledge of different aspects of real estate and turned it into a career with Douglas Elliman.

After graduating from The Kinkaid School, Betty earned her Bachelor's degree at Texas Christian University. Betty has a yellow Labrador and a big rescue dog she loves to walk with. She enjoys traveling off the beaten path and has been to over forty-five different countries around the world. She's also adventurous and has been sky diving and scuba diving.

Betty enjoys playing polo at the Houston Polo Club.

She currently resides in the Highland Village area and specializes in Houston's premiere neighborhoods including River Oaks, Tanglewood, West University, Briargrove, and the Museum District. Betty's passion for residential real estate is evident through her life long experience. What she loves doing is using her extensive heritage and real estate history to give her buyers a unique understanding of new construction and the purchasing process.

    Katherine Cancelmo
Greenwood King Properties - Kirby Office
    About Katherine

Native Houstonian Kate Cancelmo relishes her demanding real estate career and the diverse opportunities it presents for growth and success. Kate prides herself on going the extra mile in every transaction and providing unsurpassed client service. Her once nickname, "Can-do Cancelmo" captures that spirit to a tee.

Before becoming a Realtor, Kate worked in the investment management industry, an experience she says honed her communication skills and now helps her to be one step ahead of her clients. "There's such a sense of fulfillment when I've helped my clients gain what they set out to achieve," she says.

Kate attended West U Elementary, Lanier Middle School, and Lamar High School. From there she went to Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia where she graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. During college, Kate spent a semester abroad studying art and architecture in Paris while absorbing the culture from her French host family. Kate credits her education and upbringing for her ability to envision the potential in a house that is less than perfect. She uses her eye for architecture and interior design to suggest possibilities buyers may not have considered and to guide sellers as they prepare their homes for sale.

Kate also spent cherished summers in the Texas Hill Country at Camp Mystic. "I'm still in touch with my Mystic friends and greatly value those relationships. My growing network has taught me that you never know where your connections will take you, and I now use those resources to benefit my buyers and sellers."

Kate shares a love for the outdoors with her brother, a TCU graduate, and her parents who taught her the meaning of hard work and the importance of helping others. Kate serves as a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Breeders Greeters Committee Member and Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation – Stewards of the Wild Houston Chapter Member. She is a parishioner at St. Anne Catholic Church, enjoys playing league tennis, cooking, and walking her Irish doodle, Rita.

    Steven Bouchard
    New Leaf Real Estate
    About Steven

Proud Houstonian, Texas A&M alumni, Father and Realtor for 14 years and counting! My story begins after I graduated from Texas A&M Mays Business School in 2010 with a bachelor's in Business Marketing. My passion for real estate started in college and has allowed me to work with many of Houston's most prestigious real estate firms such as: Marcus & Millichap, Sudhoff Properties, Boulevard Realty and now New Leaf Real Estate. I have been blessed to have been coached by some of Houston's top brokers and real estate teams. This experience has made me into the hard-working, knowledgeable and respected agent that I am today. I have also been fortunate to be awarded into the million-dollar producers club by the Greater Houston Builders Association or GHBA. For over a decade, I have built long-lasting relationships with a variety of clients and to-date have successfully closed over 50 million dollars of sold transactions including residential and commercial properties. On a more personal note, I was born in Montreal, Canada; where most of my close family lives today. Houston has since become my home and after years of living in the lone star state I think I am now a true Texan; minus the cowboy boots! Biking, lacrosse, traveling, art exhibits, live music, and just being outdoors in nature are some of my favorite hobbies. If you need assistance selling or buying real estate in the Greater Houston area, please allow me to serve you.
