Before transitioning to real estate, I had a successful career as an Early Childhood Education teacher. However, in 2008, my passion for customer service led me to open a franchise restaurant. Over eight years of experience in the restaurant industry exposed me to customers from all cultures and nationalities. This experience made me realize that I could provide an invaluable resource to people and families looking to invest in real estate.

I am committed to providing stellar customer service to all my clients. My goal is to help buyers find their perfect home that matches their lifestyle. Catherine York's career began in New York City in the fashion industry. Since working with people has always been a passion of hers, being in luxury retail was a perfect match. Her retail clients expected a very high level of product knowledge and customer service. "I quickly learned what I needed to accomplish to make sure that my clients were satisfied. Simply stated, my philosophy as a Realtor® is not about how many homes I sell, but rather about making the seller or the buyer feel well informed and totally taken care of," says Catherine. Listening to clients and doing everything possible to achieve their goals is top on her list.

Catherine has worked with Caroline Schlemmer since 2013 as her Buyer's agent. Caroline and Catherine work in concert with their clients to ensure they are first in line to view a home, and if they choose to make an offer, they have proven techniques to ensure the offer is meaningful to the seller. "Our goal is to take the leg work and guesswork out of finding a new home and to help our clients make informed decisions in a timely manner." Since joining Caroline, the Team has earned #1 in sales for 2014-2016 for the Heights Office.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Catherine graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Retail. She played international soccer and was an active member of her sorority of Alpha Gamma Delta. Catherine is passionate about travel and feels it is vital in expanding one's knowledge and experience of other cultures. Her other interests include her beloved Maltese, Fiona, and mini Teddy bear Goldendoodle, Ruby. She lives in the Houston Heights with her husband, Ryan York and their two children.
