Shortly after receiving my degree in Process Technology and working in the field for a few years I realized that I had focused on the wrong things. Money was the driving factor for choosing my career and it is one of the mistakes I'm most grateful for. After reflecting on what I could do to change my career I reminisced to a time where I was truly happy at a job. That's when sales came to mind, I remember how I enjoyed interacting with people, studying their body language, and the science of communicating. I worked at home depot for 6+ years on the sales floor in both flooring and garden, and what I enjoyed most was the feeling of accomplishment whenever I would complete a sale and give the customer great service. This is more than a career to me, it's my thing, that's a language only a few understand. I always told those who questioned my transition between careers that I just want a career that would make me excited to wake up on a Monday morning. I'm so excited I started a career in Real Estate because it has given me the freedom to make my own choices and the opportunity to be happy.
Before Rhonda received her real estate license in 2021, she spent the first 30 years of her career as a research administrator at the prestigious Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine. This role required not only precision and organization but also a deep commitment to the betterment of healthcare practices. Her extensive experience in research administration helped hone her skills in attention to detail, thorough analysis, and a relentless work ethic.
