Diana Mulder is compelled to achieve an easy, secure and successful Real Estate process for her clients. A key reason is that she and her family had a great Realtor when they relocated from the Netherlands to Houston in 2010. Her goal is to replicate that experience for individuals and families interested in buying, selling or leasing properties in the Greater Houston area. She specializes in helping clients who relocate from abroad and families find the homes that best fit their lifestyles and dreams.
Tenacious is just one attribute that describes Diana; others are proactive, reliable, knowledgeable, and easygoing. The ability to anticipate and address issues and to work well with people from different countries and of diverse cultures – an outcome of her wide travel – have added value throughout her career. A former sailor and degreed engineer, she has worked with marine and offshore-related companies. After gaining her MBA, she served as innovation, strategy and marketing manager identifying opportunities, promoting networking and gathering the appropriate parties to accomplish goals. She eventually changed direction to specialize in autism where she provided therapy and helped children with autism and their families.
Diana also has a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis and completed additional graduate level courses in Psychology. Her native language is Dutch; her second primary language is English; and she has a basic understanding of German. The French she studied in high school has helped her learn many Spanish words. She and her husband, Bas, have two children – Katie and Nord. A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rounds out their family.
In her spare time, Diana likes spending quality time with family and friends; water activities including sailing, swimming, fishing, and canoeing; going to the beach; experimenting with recipes and adjusting them for special diets; exploring vacations and continuously learning. She also enjoys helping at her children's schools and interacting with students and families. She knows and follows support groups and developments in the field of autism and is a past board member of the Shadowlake HOA.
