Yolanda is a native of Alexandria, Louisiana later relocating to Houston, Texas where she has made a home for her and her family. She has earned an Associate of Applied Science in Real Estate, a certificate in Property Management. To further her education she has a BS in Psychology and a Masters in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. Also, she has earned a Master's in Business Administration. She entered the Order in March of 1995 through Deborah Chapter 17 (A.F. & A.M.) of Alexandria, Louisiana. After relocating to Houston she remained inactive until joining Ma'at Chapter No. 1 under the Grand Chapter of Astraea OES, Houston, Texas.In the year 2020, she was asked to lead and become a Worthy Matron and graciously accepted the position of May 2020 to establish Deborah Jael Chapter No. 4. It began with nine founding members and quickly grew to 19.
