I have been a member of the Houston Metro area since 1997, serving in my community in many various organizations over the years. It is my pleasure to now serve in the real estate community, working for CB&A, Realtors. I am here to serve you in the buying and selling of real estate and to help you find your way home.

With 25 years of working in the mortgage and title industry, I come well equipped as a real estate agent to handle all facets of a transaction. I am a hard worker with attention to detail. I listen to the needs of my client and tailor my marketing to best suit these needs. I have lived and worked in the Cypress area for 36 years. I am excited to see the growth of this community and believe it to be a wonderful place for all stages of life--from raising a family to retiring here. I am married and have 2 grown sons and 3 grandsons. I raised my children in this community. As a client, your happiness and satisfaction is my highest priority. My philosophy is simple: clients come first. I pledge to be in constant communication with my clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. I am lucky enough to have turned my personal passion into my career and have spent the last twelve years investing in Real Estate in the Houston metro area. Buying, rehabbing, remodeling, renting, and selling my own properties became a process I learned and enjoyed many times. You've probably heard that turning something you love into your career means you'll never have to work a day in your life. I completely embrace that mindset and now I'm helping others in the same process of finding and selling their homes. Born and raised in Mexico, I am very proud of my Hispanic heritage. However, my love and passion for Real Estate was born in Houston, a great place I loved from day # 1. It is a city that offered me things I never had before. I found my faith, family, friends and a great future for my kids. I enjoy seeing others experiencing the same when they come to Houston or surrounding areas. Knowing people from different backgrounds and cultures is something amazing. That is why traveling with my family to many places as possible every year is one of our greatest pleasures. However, I realized that traveling is not a requirement because Houston has great diversity and brings the best from many other countries. I look forward to helping you and your family in your pursuit of happiness and dreams acquiring or selling your next property in Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, or any other area.

It could be said that either, you have a passion for real estate or you simply don't. Without a shadow of doubt, Richard has that passion. He achieved is first real estate license at the age of 18 years old in Johannesburg South Africa. Ever since getting his license, all he has known is residential real estate. Evidence of this, are the best listing and best selling awards he has received in his early years. His passion and energy has served him well. By the age of 21 years old, he was managing an estate agency consisting of 25 experienced estate agents. But that was not enough, with a bold vision and an idea, he decided to go into partnership and start his own residential brokerage in 2009. During this time, Richard earned the esteemed designation of Master Practitioner in Real Estate. He successfully grew the business into a leading estate agency in Alberton & Johannesburg South area in South Africa.

By 2017 a new challenge was calling. He founded Stratton Real Estate in Johannesburg. The business quickly grew into a successful boutique brokerage, which delivered a more personal "white-glove" experience. In 2019, Richard immigrated to Houston Texas, and instantly fell in love with the city and its people. They say, "you might not have been born in Texas, but you got here as quick as you could." For Richard, this is true. He is always very excited to show new comers to Houston why this is the best place for them and their family. Richard's ability to succeed and become a leading estate agent can be attributed to some key traits which makes him stand out from the crowd, namely his high energy, caring, friendly and compassionate nature. When you couple this with his relentless drive, attention to detail, along with a winning, "can do" attitude, you have a uniquely dynamic and qualified property professional, who will guide you to realize, your real estate goals. When Richard is not shaking up the Houston residential property market, he is spending his time with is beautiful wife Roxanne. Richard's guilty pleasure is Tex-Mex, Texas BBQ and desserts. So if you like good food, just ask Richard where the best restaurants are. Richard is a big sport fans. Growing up just outside of Newcastle, England, he is a huge Newcastle United fan, and he is also a big Rugby fan and not to mention an enthusiastic Texans fan. Richard always welcomes a little friendly banter from opposing sports fans.
