I began in the real estate publications business at that time, became a REALTOR in 1988 and began investment brokerage and managing single family homes in 1989. I hold the Master Property Manager (MPM) and the Residential Management Professional (RMP) Designations through the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), and the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Texas Residential Leasing Specialist (TRLS) and the Texas Residential Property Manager (TRPM) Designations through the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR). I am also a graduate of the Texas REALTOR Leadership Program (TRLP).
I currently serve on the TX REALTORS Property Management Committee (2011 Chair) and at NARPM on the Governmental Affairs Committee and as PAC Chair. I serve locally on the HAR Risk Management Committee. I was a member of the National Board of Directors for NARPM from 1997 to 2003, serving as the 2002 National President. I am also a Texas REALTOR University Instructor teaching leasing and property management classes to agents. I was recently appointed by the TX Real Estate Commission to be an inaugural member of the Broker Responsibility Advisory Committee.
