Henrietta Marek currently lives in Friendswood, Texas . She was born in Hallettsville, Texas and raised in Freeport, Texas. Henrietta received her Associate's of Science Degree in Petroleum Land Management in 1988. Before becoming a realtor, Henrietta worked in the oil and gas industry as well as in the legal profession for 20 years. Henrietta excels in patiently guiding first time homebuyers through the process with the various Texas programs currently in place. Melinda is a native Houstonian and graduate of the University of Houston, Clear Lake. After having a successful career in a corporate environment for 25 years, she decided it was time for a career change. Having built and sold several of her own homes, and enjoying the selling and purchasing process, Melinda decided to pursue a career in real estate.

When Melinda has free time she loves to travel. She is a devout Houston Texans fan and enjoys attending the home games and as well as traveling to out of town games. She and her husband also enjoy fishing and relaxing at their vacation home on Lake Livingston. She looks forward to helping others find their dream home.

As a real estate agent and broker I started in 1991 EXCLUSIVELY representing buyers. Prior to 1991 my business experience was in banking and my real estate experience was as an investor. Besides being a licensed real estate broker, I was a founding member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) and I served as a NAEBA director several years. During that time as a committee chairman I wrote the NAEBA Standards of Practice which is used today. I was also a founding member of the Texas Buyer Agents Association and served as Secretary/Treasurer. I have EXCLUSIVELY represented only buyers in real estate transactions based upon my belief that if a CPA or an attorney will only represent one party in a transaction to avoid conflicts of interest then real estate professionals should do the same.
