Get to know Deborah Phillips: I am a native Texan, I was born in San Antonio, TX. My Parents were both Educators-(A Math Teacher & A History Teacher/Football Coach/Administrator) We moved to the Houston Area in 1980. I grew up in North Houston and graduated from Spring H.S. & Texas A&M University. I worked in Corporate America for many yrs doing IT Recruiting/Sales & Microsoft Consulting Svcs/HR Consulting Svcs before becoming a Mother to 3 precious daughters. I stayed home for a few years while the girls were babies and then moved into Real Estate once they were all in school full time. My Husband & I have been together for 20 and married 17 yrs in May. We moved our family to Magnolia,TX in May of 2013 and plan to raise our girls here:) I love Real Estate and serving & giving back to the Community. I am a proud granddaughter of a Veteran. My mission is to Honor God & Serve Others so I have chosen to give back a portion of my commission to all of my Patriot Buyers and Sellers. Isaac Tijerina has over 18 years of real estate experience in many different facets. During his career he has also held a mortgage broker's license and worked as a lead asset manager for HUD's M&M contract. My daughter and I have lived in the Magnolia community for the last 13 years. We fell in love with the Magnolia area the first time we drove through and couldn't wait to purchase a home here. What a great decision! I have been in real estate as long as I can remember in one way or another. I have been designing and decorating homes for over 20 years. I chose to stop teaching and began my dream of purchasing and remodeling homes. Some we rented and some we flipped. I then decided to attend appraisal school to further my knowledge of the real estate market. Although I never became an appraiser, the knowledge and tools I gained have helped me navigate through the market with pricing and where money spent can be most beneficial. I began designing remodels and found so much joy in this. I continue to do this as I love to find new life in a home that has been left behind in the current market- a diamond in the rough. Remove a wall, update a kitchen and bath, add a patio, and you have this beautiful updated home nestled on a lot you could never purchase otherwise. I became a certified home stager in the next few years so I could add more knowledge to my love of all things real estate. Moving furniture around, adding a few new pieces of decor and putting finishing touches on a home can make all the difference in how someone sees your most loved and valuable asset. Making someone's home look its absolute best gives me great joy!I have extensive knowledge in construction and can help my clients see changes that can be made when they love a home but have concerns about some the features or lack of. I have been called in by realtors to help their clients see what changes could be made to see if they could be happy in a home they are considering. I have also assisted family's who have decided on new construction. I review plans, suggest changes and work with the architect to make the changes as well as help in the design center choosing finishes.
