Bobbye Mills is a native of Monroe Louisiana, a graduate of Southern University at Baton Rouge, La where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in real estate. Mrs. Mills worked for Exxon Company USA for 13 years before leaving to start her own business in 1992. Bobbye became a licensed agent in 1990 and a broker in 1991 with Summit Properties_BJMills where she has served as the broker of record for the past 29 years. She supervises 5 independent contractors and 1 staff person. Mills earned a Master of Architecture Degree in Community Development in May 2012, she has served as a housing consultant and Project Manager for the Houston Area Urban Community Development (HAUCDC). Under her leadership, HAUCDC now owns or controls more than 332 units in 3 years, built more than 24 units of new c, and continues to work in the construction industry. I grew up in Houston, Texas and I am now a mother of two boys. Spending time with my boys is one of my top priorities which helps me relate to families looking to find their home. In addition to family time, I enjoy trying out new restaurants and businesses in and around Houston so I get the low down on the best neighborhoods and shopping areas. Houston's outdoor spaces are a great place for family fun if we don't have enough time to leave the city and a great way to get to know lots of fun spots.
