With over 30 years combined experience in the financial and real estate industries, I have extensive knowledge of both the new construction and resale real estate process. My expertise covers all inner loop areas including Montrose, Camp Logan, Rice Military, Midtown and the Washington Avenue corridor. My extensive knowledge of the Houston real estate market expands to West University Place, where I lived for 8 years, as well as the Med Center area and Bellaire. I now reside in the booming Neartown area - between River Oaks and Downtown. I am a Native Texan and have been a resident of Houston for over 30 years.
My objectives are simple; listen to and understand my clients' needs, furnish accurate information, keep the lines of communication open and pay attention to detail. Keeping these goals foremost in mind, I continue to develop many long lasting relationships with my clients.
Whether assisting in buying or selling a home, Robin Segesta's commitment to her clients comes first. Robin recognizes the full potential in a house and understands the investment potential based on location, schools, neighborhoods and amenities. Drawing on years of education and professional experience in interior design, she prides herself on finding true value in homes others might look past.
"I understand the importance of buying in the best possible neighborhood, even if it means we take a 'diamond in the rough' and turn it into a dream home," she says.
Professional, organized, and detail-oriented, Robin thrives on building life-long relationships that lead to referrals and repeat business from a growing number of loyal, happy clients. Her attention to detail pays dividends for clients by helping them visualize the potential in their homes. Robin knows what it takes to get a house ready to go on the market. "Having designed show homes, model homes for builders, and staged homes for Realtors, I'm confident in my ability to get a house ready to sell," she says. Robin has recently joined the Institute Of Luxury Home Marketing, and has become a Certified Pricing Strategy Advisor.
Having moved all her adult life, Robin has a true understanding of the local real estate market and relocation process. As a Texan since 2002 (moving from Chicago), Robin understands the importance of geographic, hyper-local expertise when it comes to selecting the right neighborhood and schools.
Trustworthy, hardworking, an excellent negotiator, and an excellent researcher who won't stop until she finds the perfect home for her clients, Robin loves working with people and is passionate about giving back to her community. Outside of her family, Segesta is proudest of co-founding Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago, the first urban pediatric oncology camp. She and her husband are also founders of Camp H-Town, where they partner with MD Anderson to host a camp for children battling cancer. She is also on the advisory board for Dress For Success, and volunteers for The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Wine Sales Committee, raising money for college students in need. She also works on the silent auction committee for Today's Harbor For Children. Married for more than 30 years, Segesta is the proud mother of two adult sons and is an active member of Second Baptist Church in Houston.
