Kay soumir is a Moroccan native who has traveled to many countries growing up before settling in Pearland, TX since 2007. Due to her diverse background, Kay offers excellent customer service and a commitment to work hard while being able to serve and communicate effectively in Arabic, French, Moroccan and English. Kay discovered her love for Real Estate in high school volunteering to build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Kay's background as an educator has helped her develop impeccable patience and attention to detail. She has dedicated the last few years helping clients buy and sell properties while working with seasoned Top Producing agents in the Clear Lake area. Throughout this time, Kay has acquired extensive knowledge and experience to provide quality service to build remarkable relationships with clients. Amy has lived in West University Place since 2000 and she and her husband are currently raising their three children in West U.Community involvement is important to Amy and she volunteers for The Junior League of Houston, of which she is a sustaining member, West University Elementary School PTO, The Kinkaid School and other organizations.Amy and her family attend St. John the Divine Episcopal Church where she has served on the Associate Vestry.She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and has served on the board of the Texas Exes Houston Chapter.

As a broker for the buyer, activity consists of providing knowledgeable assistance to the client regarding the property selection and viewing, contract preparation and negotiation, loan, inspections and renegotiation, insurance, and closing. As a broker for the seller, activity consists of market analysis, listing contract, creation of brochures and photos/videos, listing the property on MLS and websites, showing and coordinating of showings, open houses, contract negotiation.

There will be no pressure on a buyer/client to act quickly or rush to a conclusion. My priority is what is best for the client, not the broker. I will not, nor will any Helton & Megarity agents receive inducements, fees, or kickbacks from any non-Realtor participants involved in a clients transaction (ex. loan officers, inspectors, insurance agents, surveyors, etc.). A client will never be turned over to an assistant, and I will remain available after the transaction is completed. Staying up-to-date on real estate trends, economic projections, current interest rate climate, comparable sales, new construction, and technology, is an essential part of my business. I have a stable history of full time, business owner-broker service since 1979. Not one client has ever filed a complaint with any real estate association, or governing body. I have been a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, MLS, and the Texas Association of Realtors since 1978. Education is B.S. in Economics and Finance, The University of Houston Main Campus. Prior to my real estate business career, for 7 years, I was a common stock securities analyst and retirement plans portfolio manager for a major bank.
