Alexis Mendoza has been in the real estate industry for almost a decade! She began pursuing real estate in 2014, after returning from a year long sabbatical where she trekked the globe with her then fiancé, now husband. Traveling to over 23 countries, she developed a deep appreciation for what family life is for a wide array of cultures and people. Being able to experience, first hand, such diverse lifestyles and perspectives was truly inspiring. It ignited her desire to become an integral part of helping people through such an intimate experience, such as buying and selling a home.

Growing up a classically trained dancer; attending schools such as The Houston Ballet and The Ailey School in NYC (one of the most prestigious dance academies in the world), Alexis is no stranger to the values of hard work, determination and perseverance. Elida earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Houston in 2009. After college, she worked with her family's contracting business by facilitating permits and inspections in several construction projects. Elida developed a comprehensive understanding of real estate and development operations through this experience.

Elida joined the Houston Association of Realtors in the Summer of 2017. She has 10+ years experience in sales as CEO of her own retail company. Her background in sales and customer service allows her to provide clients with the best experience in the purchase or sale of their home.
