RJ is a lifelong North Texas and Graduate of the University of North Texas. It was during his time in Denton where, in a way, he began his Real Estate career creating RentDenton.net. Which he ran and operated for 2 years before he sold it to Denton Broker Scott Brown. In 2007 with the birth of his first Daughter, RJ chose to step into the world of Real Estate at what was the beginning of the largest financial crisis in modern history. By quickly moving away from the traditional Real Estate Business model and founding his own brand under Avery Realty Group, RJ quickly rose to be one of the top agents in the North Texas Area. By combining great service with great value he was able to become much more successful than he had ever anticipated. Because of this success RJ was able to step back from Real Estate in 2013 and focus more on his newly born Twins and pursuing his personal interests of Promoting and Performing Standup Comedy. Relocating to Garland Texas and leaving Avery Realty Group in the capable hands of his father who continues to operate today in the Cedar Creek Lake Area. In 2019 RJ decided to once again step back into Real Estate full force and founded DDFW Realty, with the same simple mission in mind he had when founding Avery Realty Group. He has not rebranded the company as the vision is to expand beyond the Dallas/Fort Worth area into the company we know now as Flex Group Real Estate.
