I began my real estate career at the age of 27 in the beautiful community of Friendswood, Texas. I was excited to be working with and learning from the Friendswood Mayor and Broker/Owner of Century 21 KEY Realtors, Mrs. Evelyn Newman. After dedicating 8 years to that firm, I made the decision to join RE/MAX in the Clear Lake area where I enjoyed a challenging and successful career before gravitating back towards the beautiful Texas Hill Country that I call home. After 32 years, I still very much enjoy my chosen career as a real estate professional. A native Texan raised in Plano, Sally enjoys being a dedicated wife, Mom, Gimme, and active community member. These roles have allowed her to cultivate positive relationships in all aspects of her life. Her formal education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University and later a return to academia to earn a M. Ed. from University of Houston-Victoria. She devoted her career to serving the needs of her local community by committing over 25 years to private and public PK-12 schools and higher education institutions. Upon returning to College Station and fulfilling a dream to work at Texas A&M University, the exciting opportunity to try her hand at real estate presented itself. During her spare time from a full-time career, Sally began to research and learn all she could about real estate and the market. She approached real estate with the same passion as her experience in the field of education. Sally has now returned to her hometown in Colorado County and is looking forward to serving the needs of family, friends, and local and new community members.

A native Houstonian, Arlene Johnsey gave up the beach life and landscape in Galveston for the gentle, rolling hills of Colorado County in South Central Texas. Not for a moment has she looked back and questioned doing so. With its majestic live oaks, hills and wide open spaces, this region that Arlene now calls home is becoming equally attractive to others wishing to find respite from living in a big city atmosphere. Arlene understands what attracts people to her ‘little bit of paradise’ and gives them the benefit of her deep knowledge and commitment to superior customer service. “I’ve always been driven and unafraid of ‘stepping out of my comfort zone,’” says Arlene of her career as an award-winning sales associate. “I make only promises I can keep, and I’m known for putting that extra effort into every real estate transaction.” Her best advice? “Keep learning, and remember your priorities!” For Arlene, that means staying positive, being trustworthy and sensitive to others. These qualities, coupled with her high energy personality, make her a powerful force among her peers and in her community. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Arlene enjoys singing in her church choir and working with area charities.
