Troy Espenlaub was born and raised in the Houston area. He and his wife, Heather, have proudly called the Atascocita area home for the past 17 years. Troy graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Finance. He passed all four parts of the CPA examination that same year and began his career working as an auditor with an emphasis on large publicly traded companies in the energy sector.
Troy left his position as a Manager at a Big Four Accounting Firm at the end of 2007 in order to help his parents operate their two quick service restaurant franchise locations prior to their retirement. He completed the training required by the franchisor and was approved to purchase both restaurant locations in 2010. Troy gained valuable experience as entrepreneurs while operating a multi-million-dollar business. He was able to significantly increase the company's revenue and value during his tenure as an owner/operator. He gained an appreciation for community involvement through the many activities and organizations that he was privileged to be a part of as a small business owner.
Since leaving the restaurant industry, Troy has obtained his Real Estate Sales Associate License and has teamed up with Real Property Management, the largest property management company in North America in order to offer property management services in the Northeast Houston area and beyond under the name Real Property Management Avitus.
