Jennifer's family moved to The Woodlands in 1985. She grew up in The Woodlands, attended The Woodlands High School, and has a deep connection with the community's roots as well as an appreciation for its future. In 2005, she graduated Cum Laude with a Marketing degree from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She also obtained her MBA in Management from Sam Houston State University in 2012, while working full time as a New Home Sales Representative. The Home Building Industry is where she got her start in real estate. From 2005-2017, she sold over 100 Million in new construction homes for David Weekley Homes and Toll Brothers mostly on the North side of Houston, selling across all price points from the low 200's to just under 2 Million.
Shortly after graduating college, Jennifer married her long time friend and fellow Woodlands native, Chris Elmi. Since 2006, the 77386 zip code has been their home and they have raised their twins, Brady and Olivia, in The Falls at Imperial Oaks. Jennifer and Chris joined forces professionally in 2017 and formed The Elmi Group. At the foundation of their marriage as well as their business are honesty and integrity.
