I used this firm to help find a tenant for my rental property. My tenant vacated the property but owed me several months of rent. I discovered that the agent representing me failed to run a criminal or background check on the tenant even after stating they had done so. All the information provided on the application was fraudulent. When I brought this to the attention of Julia Wang, CEO of NextGen, her immediate response was that unless I had written proof that the agent admitted to running a criminal and background check, she was unwilling to take any responsibility or assist in any way. I am shocked at how this company treats their clients once they’ve gotten your money. I have had so many great experiences with real estate firms, but this is definitely not one of them. No empathy or culpability for the blatant mistakes that were made. If you’re looking for a good all around real estate firm, I would not recommend this one.

Being from NY and looking for a place in Houston was difficult. Having Albert as my realtor made things so easy and smooth without me physically having to be here. Once I signed off on the building, Albert would drop by the house and send me weekly updates with photos and give me status updates so I was in the know. He is always available to answer any questions I have day or night. Definitely recommend him for any future house buying!

Coming into this Pearland area, I wasn’t sure where I wanted to stay in terms of distance to my job in Freeport. A friend of ours referred my wife and I to Vanessa Thompson whom found us a rental home that was in a great neighborhood and was not a bad commute for either of us most mornings. After a couple years in the rental home, we decided to purchase our own home. It was January 2020 and I don’t think I need to explain how that year went. We decided we wanted a house built and Vanessa showed us a new neighborhood that was yet to be started. The land had a small trailer for the building manager and nothing else. Despite the rough terrain of black dirt and our lack of imagination, Vanessa helped us see where our first home was gonna be built. During the pandemic while businesses were shutting down and layoffs all around, Vanessa told us everything was gonna be alright. She called to check on us every other day to remind us we would be in our dream home soon. We closed a month earlier than the original date projected. Vanessa was always there when we needed her and available anytime we had questions. She was always on time for our meetings and made sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into when any decisions were made. She’s the real deal.

Laila Rashed is an my amazing realtor and I highly recommend her. She was patient with us and guided us through the buying process step by step and was always available to answer our questions (even on nights and weekends). We looked at many houses and lost our top 2 houses and backed out of a 3rd because we weren’t in love with it. She took us on additional showings until we found the right one for our family. She was very professional and thorough and we finally did get a house that we loved. She also was very thoughtful and gave us all welcome home gifts (even personalized ones for our 3 kids). She may the stressful home buying experience less stressful.

I could not have asked for a better experience with NextGen Real Estate. I knew I wanted to move into a new place near the Galleria area of Houston with a sunset view. Katy To came to my rescue and was able to help in my transition. She listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to find the perfect apartment. She made the entire process seamless, and I could not be happier. In fact I have even referred multiple friends, and they too had a wonderful and easy experience. I would not use or recommend anyone else. Thank you again Katy and NextGen for all of your help and support.
