When ever I travel to other cities I am reminded of how fortunate I am to live in Houston.
Recently, I took a trip to San Diego to visit a friend and I naturally asked about the real estate market there. To my surprise came the stories of how prices have really come down over the last year or two.
I know that we have had some price reductions here in Houston, but I am feeling pretty optimistic about our future compared to some cities around the nation.
If there were a city to buy real estate I would have to recommend Houston. Our employment prospects are stronger than most cities and with plenty of space to expand we are not want for affordable housing too.
Lucky are we who enjoy a lower cost of living and when the economy turns around like it always does, it gives Houstonians a head start moving in the right direction.
So feel good about living here in Houston because Houston is the best city buy real estate and keep your living expenses really low too.
