LOVE to buy your first home but... HATE the learning curve?

Home buying is a hectic process, and mostly you have to think so much more than just choosing your dress for the day of moving outright? But using the following 8 tips, you can be a pro yourself at buying a house that is the best deal you can get and is also exactly what you want to get as your home. These tips are from seasoned home buyers, and hence there is no doubt in them being authentic.

1.    Don't believe what you hear: Self researching is very important. You will hear many things about home buying, and most of them might be just myths or false information. You can use several tools to find out a suburban potential. A very particular insight can be the supply to demand ratios and trends over the years. This information will let you see a bigger picture of the location and can help you consider the area you choose for your home. You must know whether it's the right time to buy as per your needs and circumstances.

2.    Location and framework; This old property maxim is still true. But this doesn't count any of the inner city rules. You want to buy the property that delivers you with everything that you need to buy right now. Or anything that is enough for you to compromise over in the long run. It would help if you were clear about what you want, i.e., access to major roads, public transport, schools, cultural diversity, etc. Once you are clear about these things, you will be able to shortlist the homes and areas that provide you with the things you need.

3.    Consider surrounding suburbs: If you see your target area or house to be out of reach, then don't lose hope as there is still something you can do. You can consider having a look at the surrounding areas to that which suits you best but is expensive. Before you finalize about buying a house, you should talk to the locals and get their views on the suburbs and also know about its best streets. You can also read publications in that area and see the views of the bloggers to know what the best option for you is.

4.    Hunt for the upside: The cooler times in the housing market can be the doors of opportunity for you, so it's better to keep an eye on the market trends and interest rates. Some locals are hitting the bottom of the pricing cycle, and they allow you to bargain. If you don't feel ready already, you can use the spring to prepare to buy a house in the quieter times of the year.

5.    Get in first: While looking for bargains in real estate, you need to be updated on the recent bargain opportunities. For this, you can subscribe or register to real estate property alerts so that you get to know about any opportunities the first. You can also stay updated through other ways of getting first that are having a search through the public trustee, deceased estates, and mortgages sales.

6.    Talk to experts: Don't skip this part, and talking to experts will always yield good results of the time you spend in. You will always get to know some of the most recent and updated information about house selling and buying and about the opportunities to get you a home at a lower price.

7.    Monitor close to home: If you are looking for a house in a nearby area where you are living already, then you can have a look at the sale prices of other properties selling nearby. This will give you an idea of where the market is going and what are the pricing trends in the area.

8.    Inspect smartly: If you are on the buying end of the house, you will have to keep all your eyes open. Smart sellers might only be staging the house on sale beautifully, and that might fool you into buying a property that isn't worth the price. Hence you need to smartly check what you are buying and carry out an independent house tour as well.
