Hello Everyone!
My name is Lynn Blair. I am the mother of 2 beautiful children and 1 exchange student from Switzerland! I was an elementary school teacher for over a decade in Cy-Fair and continue to substitute if I have a free moment. I also coach Special Olympics Track and Swimming for the Cy-Fair school district and foster for the local Cypress dog rescue, Cypress Lucky Mutts. Aside from my love of children and animals, I have always had a passion for real estate. I have been an investor along with my husband (whom is a realtor as well) since 2009.
Eight years ago I made my dream a reality and took up real estate along side my husband, Cody. This year I became a broker and we have opened up Blair Realty Group here in Fairfield! I have lived in Fairfield in the Cypress area for over 14 years and have watched it grow from FARfield, to one of the most beautiful, outstanding neighborhoods in the Houston area. “This experience was not what I expected or hoped for. After everything was finalized many people asked about my experience and I shared with them how it went, many people were surprised so I thought I would share my thoughts to possibly help someone else. Lynn was nice, down to earth and has a wonderful personality, but the transaction experience itself was subpar. I felt myself having to reach out and do my own research on next steps, instead of having things explained to me before or during the process. The information was very general, but because I had never did this before I didn t know what I should have been asking or not asking. I also had higher expectations on the negotiating since the home had been sitting for months. After speaking to new neighbors, there was definitely room for negotiation. There were so many different issues with the home I had to take the initiative on for things to move along. She was very responsive when I had a question. But it was more of reactive than proactive. Overall, the experience really made me question the purpose of having a realtor. Again, nothing against Lynn as a person, but the experience I had was not something I would ever want to repeat.”
