The Mehos House designed by local architect Thomas Price is one of Galveston's most important and intact historic properties from the mid-20th century. Relatively few mid-century houses on the Island retain such a large degree of integrity. The Mehos House is a notable example of Mid-Century Modern residential architecture common in the US from about 1945-1965.
