Prior to pursuing a career in real estate, Sterling first attended Dallas Baptist University where he played ice hockey & ran track. He then transferred to Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, while also officiating junior & collegiate ice hockey on the side & coaching hockey camps over the summer. He also grew his business Sterling Knife Sharpening and built its reputation as one that provides top-notch quality service to its clients, which he still operates today.
In addition to that, he was invited to the NHL's Officiating Combine in 2017, and has officiated various levels of ice hockey including junior, collegiate, and pro.
The skills he has gained from playing, officiating, & coaching ice hockey as well as operating a service based business have translated seamlessly to his real estate career.
