There are a lot of reasons to love the Heights: the history of the homes and people; the varying house styles from pre-1900's Victorians to the early 1910-20's Craftsman style, and just the ambience of the area.

One really cool feature that we have here is the old storefront buildings. These might have been corner stores years ago but have since been re-purposed and are still in use. The  image above is an old storefront in my neighborhood of Woodland Heights. There are a lot of these cool, funky old buildings in the Heights.

See others that I photographed in the Heights on a post my website Old Heights Storefronts.

Please check other posts here on my HAR blog for neighborhood prices, etc. Or...go to my Heights Blog or pages and posts on many of the neighborhoods surrounding the Heights.
