As mentioned in my blog entry on November 21st, the long-time family owned Teas Nursery was for sale. Well, brothers Jerry and Maury Rubenstein bought the five acres through a family trust. The best part is that instead of developing it with crowded townhomes, increasing traffic and water displacement, the land will be donated to the City of Bellaire for community use! A big "thank you!" to the Rubensteins!
