As a native Pittsburgher, I have had a long-time love affair with the legendary architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, since first visiting two of his most magnificently designed homes nestled in the lush landscape of the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Although Fallingwater is built partly over a waterfall  and is considered to be the "best all-time work of American Architecture ", the magnificent mountaintop Kentuck Knob residence still remains a home of my dreams!
Today I discovered that My Houston has a gem of  a Frank Lloyd Wright property of its own...and it is listed for sale! Originally designed by Wright in the early 1950's as a one bedroom bungalow, it was later expanded to an 8,026 sf , 6 bedroom home on a gated 51,727 sf lot in Bunker Hill Village. During my visit, I was thrilled to discover that this unique home reflects Wright's philosophy of organic architecture in harmony with the environment. Pictured above is me settling into the original living room enjoying the courtyard view. List price $3,195,000. Call me at 281.513.4009 to arrange a showing.
