Autumn is a great time to buy a home. Not only is the weather cooler (Houston in October is lovely), but you still have the opportunity to take advantage of tax deductions before the year ends. Remember that mortgage interest and property taxes are deductible from gross income. Talk to your CPA about the tax advantages of owning a home. Determine what you can afford and start your search today. Just imagine spending the holidays in your new home.
