No Summertime Blues Here

Pearland is a wonderful place to call home. There are many reasons why – and more coming to light each day – but one thing I love its proximity to so many great attractions in the Greater Houston/Galveston area. A 30 mile drive, and you can have arrived at any number of awesome places.

The Galleria area, with all its glitz and glam. The artsy Montrose, replete with street festivals and one-of-a-kind eateries and boutiques. The Museum and Theatre Districts that rival the quality of collections and performances anywhere. The world renowned Texas Medical Center, where thousands come each year from the four corners of the earth, seeking hope and health.

Galveston, that laid back beach town with its deep historic roots. NASA’s Johnson Space Center, where Mission Control heard the words, “one small step for man…” Kemah Boardwalk and its coastal art and airiness. Any vast number of beautiful examples of architecture, churches and temples comparable to the most exquisite anywhere.

Houston also hosts huge numbers of festivals, county fairs, and the one and only Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo each year. The spring and fall, especially, are full to bursting with motorcycle rallies, the Art Car Parade, Mardi Gras, Greek Fest, Renaissance Festival, International Festival, Pasadena Rodeo and Strawberry Festival, and two Bayou City Arts Festivals. Not to be left out, the annual Nutcracker Market is a staple on the social and shopping scene every autumn.

Greater Houston has something for everyone. Pearland is perfectly positioned to make experiencing these events convenient. It’s only one of the multitude of reasons to call Pearland home. Come on and give me a call today to see what pearland can offer you. Retta Absher of RE/MAX Top Realty 281-216-4663.
