Are you a neighborhood resident and find that parking in Rice Military is a problem? I lived there for 5 years and back in 2004(ish) my block had Pam Holm visit and discuss parking problems (mainly the lack of parking). Parking is an even bigger problem now, especially for the streets close to all the new bars on Washington. And try driving down Crooms - ug - so narrow. It's time to get involved!
A public hearing for consideration of the Rice Military Residential Permit Parking area has been set for Thursday, November 19 at 5:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center
at 1475 West Gray.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive testimony both orally and written with respect to our RPP application.
A have attached a copy of the notice with block numbers and streets listed in RM.
Everyone is invited to show support by attending this meeting. Some may wish to speak at the meeting, while others of you may wish to write your comments. Please address written comments to Melonie.curry@cityofhouston.net Ms. Curry is the Residential Permit Parking Program Coordinator.
