The Mosaic and Montage Condo Hi-Rises were built in a speculative location - Alemda @ 288 (south of the Med Center).  It proved to be a location that did not work. The FDIC and a group of investors has taken over the Mosaic Tower. 123 units have already been sold in the building and the new owners will seek to sell the remaining 271 units which are asking about $300 per square foot. The next door neighbor, the Montage, is now being marketed as rental.
