Cherry brings a unique and diverse background to real estate. Having owned and operated her own carpentry business in the 1980's, she has a special knowledge of older homes. Cherry has bought and renovated 4 such "gems", which now comprise her retirement portfolio as rental properties. New construction is another area of expertise, having worked with builders & buyers in designing and selling or purchasing these homes. During the 1980's she was a public radio programmer for Pacifica Radio's KPFT in Houston, as well as operating her own D.J. service, Soundscapes. During the 1990's, Cherry worked for a decade as an occupational therapist helping people live more independent and productive lives. She is a resident of Garden Oaks, has been active in her Civic Club, her church and the TPG (The Professional Group) loves dogs, dancing, travel and jazzercise.
