Native Houstonian Karen Harberg is one of Martha Turner Properties’ – and the Bayou City’s – outstanding Realtors. She was the number one producer in the company for 2004, has been a member of the Circle of Excellence every year since joining the company in 1996, and is a member of the Hall of Fame, a select category reserved to honor agents who qualify for the Circle for at least five consecutive years. Karen’s list of professional accomplishments includes being included consistently as one of Houston’s top 25 real estate professionals by the Houston Business Journal. Texas Monthly magazine has recognized Karen among the top one percent of agents in Texas, and H Texas magazine repeatedly lists her among Houston’s top agents.

Organized, market-knowledgeable, articulate, and energetic, Karen focuses on doing the right thing for every individual involved in a real estate transaction. “Because I’ve lived here all of my life,” she says, “I know that I’ll likely cross paths with the same buyers, sellers, and agents again. A devoted wife, mother of three, and recent empty-nester, Karen knows about giving to her community. She is a past president of the Women's City Club, an organization of prominent Houston business and professional women; a former board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a current JDRF Advisory Board member; a member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Beth Israel; a former member of the Spring Branch Middle School Community Improvement Team (SBMS-CIT); and a current member of the Bunker Hill Elementary School Community Improvement Team (BHE-CIT).
