After years of working in sales, I made a change to begin my career in real estate. I am now able to use my negotiation skills and my desire to meet client needs in order to best serve my clients.

I love beautiful houses, I enjoy seeing unique architecture, and I love interior design. I could spend hours on Pinterest scouring the millions of home decorating photos.

I am an avid reader, and since moving to Houston, I've read numerous books about Houston's history. I've learned about the growth of Houston from a real estate perspective, including the cultural, environmental, and financial factors that have influenced Houston's growth.

I'm also an active traveler and foodie. I love visiting other cities, other states, and other countries, meeting new people from various cultures. Since moving to Houston, I've been happily eating my way around the greater Houston area, from Indian and Italian to Cantonese and Japanese to Tex Mex and Texas BBQ and everything in between!

Mariem Awney is excited about representing the Greater Houston Area Homeowners and Future Homeowners. She started her career in property management in 2018 . Mariem earned a Bashlor Degree in Hospitality management Studies, and Diploma in Business management marketing. When she is not working on her business, Mariem enjoys working out, reading books, traveling with her family and being an active PTO volunteer at the school where her two children attend. Mariem has an effective work ethic and possesses the intelligence and professional poise that is needed to be successful in the real estate market. She is both a homeowner and an income property owner, which makes her compassionate to clients as they experience the current real estate sector.
